Venue and Catering
The Venue and Catering module is designed for hotels with function rooms and convention centres. Sales staff can create customized packages for guests who require a function done in the hotel with the integration of the food and beverage module.
The main benefits of the Venue and Catering module are:
- The Sales team is able to create venue packages, make quotations and reservations for customers wherever they are as long as the Internet is available. They can make reservations based on real time availability of function rooms in the properties. This eliminates the communication costs needed for the sales department to contact the reservation department for confirmation on availabilities and workload can be reduced.
- The venue and catering module is integrated with GIT reservations, F&B and Accounting module. The sales team is able to make GIT reservations and F&B arrangements for customers if it is needed at the same time when making venue reservations and venue packages. It is also integrated with the Accounting module which reduces the workload of the Accounting department because there is no need to enter data manually.
- Swap advise will be given when the swapping of venues is needed to optimize the number of reservations it can accommodate according to the configuration of venues. With the swap advice, venue reservations can be increased where possible and hence increase revenue.
- Guests are able to select venues based on the best configuration which they require for their function. This provides flexibility for guests to arrange the settings of their function based on the number of participants.
