Summerset is the first user of E-HORS. In fact, Summerset approached the founder of E-HORS and requested him to develop a new hotel system. After some market research, the result showed that there is a huge potential for an innovative, state of the art, web based solution for the hospitality industry. Thus, E-HORS was born.
Currently Summerset is a satisfied user of E-HORS. However, due to internal matters they have not implemented all modules of E-HORS yet.
Although Summerset is not using all modules of E-HORS yet, they have enjoyed major savings in daily operations and investments. Summerset has its sales office in Kuala Lumpur and its property in Kuala Rompin. E-HORS has contributed significantly to the efficiency of the operations, as the sales office has no need to contact the property for availability inquiries etc. The savings in cost of communication has increased sales and decreased costs.
The online internet reservations with full payment in advance using the 3D gateway approved by Maybank and Bank Negara has also contributed to improved cash flow and increased revenues. As the internet reservations are part of the total solution, no commissions are paid to any booking engine.
In addition to this, the cost of ownership of their IT department has decreased tremendously.
