Bubu Resort is a small property on the island of Perhentian Kecil. Even though the property is small and E-HORS is more or less designed for larger properties, E-HORS will deliver a significant contribution to the efficiency of the operations. E-HORS was implemented and fully operational in Bubu resort on April 6th 2008.
The operational challenges of Bubu have resulted in the purchase of E-HORS. E-HORS allows Bubu to work within a virtually single homogenous environment although the sales and purchasing department is in Kuala Lumpur, the check in and (market list) purchasing is in Kuala Besut and the property is on the island.
Bubu does not only has a tremendous improvement in efficiency, but also substantial decrease in expenses, as all kind of documents like arrival lists, purchase orders etc. do not need faxing anymore. The use of the IP Phone system has lead to zero internal communication cost.
Multiple outlets like the dive shop and the Aura massage, which do not belong to the resort, are able to perform room charges. This is very convenient in a beach resort, as people do not usually carry their wallets while diving, or walking on the beach.
